In short — MedicConsult
- A teleconsult, prevention and matching platform.
- Not an emergency service: in life-threatening danger, call local emergency services.
- The app is not a laboratory: labs and imaging happen off-platform at local facilities (possibly after referral by a local doctor).
- A locally authorised doctor (“Local doctor” badge) may prescribe or refer under their country rules; that is not true of every remote doctor.
- Each doctor remains responsible for their licence and practice; the platform organises the relationship and payment.
- Ethical principles inspired by the Hippocratic tradition: care for the person, professional conscience, and respect for human dignity — for practitioners on the platform as well as for how MedicConsult operates.
- Informed consent: you are informed of the framework of teleconsultation / prevention / matching before using the service.
- Respect for privacy, culture, religion and traditions of the patient, without discrimination.
- Respect for the laws applicable in the patient’s and the practitioner’s countries of practice, within the limits of a digital matching platform.
- Your account and health data are processed to provide the service (see privacy policy).
